US positive displacement pump firm Unibloc Pump has bought Flotronic Pumps, a UK-based producer of specialized, air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps and equipment.
Founded in 1990, Flotronic Pumps invented the ‘One Nut’ AODD pump. The pioneering single bolt design reduces course of downtime by simplifying pump assembly/disassembly, offering financial savings in maintenance prices.
Unibloc Pump chief govt officer Chris Stevens will be a part of the Flotronic Pumps management group as CEO.
