Hayward Tyler awarded pump contract for ITER fusion venture

Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to assist the ITER project in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER venture is a joint international analysis and improvement project to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is beneath construction in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the earth.
