The expertise group Wärtsilä will perform an upgrading project of the electrical and automation systems to make sure optimum reliability of the Kribi power plant within the Republic of Cameroon.
The 216 MW plant has been in operation for nearly ten years, working with 13 Wärtsilä 50DF dual-fuel engines operating totally on pure fuel. The venture is scheduled to start in 2023. To make certain the continuity of the plant’s output, the work shall be carried out on one engine at a time.
