Thai police are reporting two extra crosswalk accidents in Bangkok amidst a nationwide effort to enhance pedestrian safety initiated after the lethal crosswalk accident the place a watch physician was hit by a police officer who sped his Ducati motorbike through a zebra crossing. Over the weekend, two pedestrians have been hit by oncoming bikes. Ensured of them died.
One man was killed while strolling across a crossing on Suwinthawong Road in the Min Buri district and the opposite man was killed by the Ying Charoen market on Phahon Yothin Road in Bang Khen district
On Suwinthawong Road, the person who was killed didn’t have any type of identification on him. Officers believe he’s in his 50s and are still working to identify the physique. The lady who reportedly crashed into him is dealing with felony expenses of reckless driving inflicting dying.
The other incident involved a 35 12 months previous Burmese migrant named Doe who was strolling on a crosswalk by the Ying Charoen market. Doe had worked at a pork stall at Ying Charoen for more than a decade, a market safety guard advised police.
Doe was transferred to Bhumibol Hospital to be handled for his injuries. The 48 year old motorbike driver who hit Doe was knocked off his bike and suffered from minor accidents..
