A. Rigid Shaft Support Traditionally, plastic chemical pumps both have a single sided shaft assist or only use plastic for a double-ended shaft assist. The drawback with this is that beneath high temperature or pressure, the shaft assist weakens resulting in shaft deflection and subsequently vibrations leading elevated wear and reduced service life. The AME range features a patented integral V shape entrance support that is a half of the metallic casing armour and then PFA lined. The rear of the shaft is supported within the PFA lined containment shell and reinforced by a steel help ring and high-strength carbon fibre composite cover. This superior design means a longer design life leading to far much less downtime and elevated productiveness.
B. Vacuum Resistant Lining The PFA lining is formed immediately onto the steel armour and designed to ensure the PFA materials stays adhered to the armour even beneath low absolute pressure.
C. Load Balanced Volute The casing volute is designed to have an evenly distributed hydraulic pressure, offering a balanced radial loading on the impeller.
D/E. Effortless , steel embedded impeller Traditionally, an ETFE or PFA magazine drive pump might be fitted with a separate impeller and inside magnet. In purposes of excessive pressure or temperature, the impeller can deform leading to damages and reduced efficiency. The AME pump range is built whereby the impeller and magnet capsule are shaped as one piece which eliminates the potential of the impeller loosening. For further operational stability and rigidity, a metallic structure is embedded from the magnet capsule to the impeller blade further rising the pump’s operational life.
F. Simple Construction The stationary shaft design permits for a very simple building which makes maintenance and repairs very simple.
G. Reinforced Containment Shell The plastic containment shell is strengthened with a carbon fibre composite cowl. There is no eddy current loss, so no additional heating of the pumped chemical.
H. Uncomplicated Coupling Inner magnets are constructed from Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) to be able to withstand excessive operating temperatures with out experiencing demagnetization. High energy neodymium (NdFeB) is then used for the drive magnet to provide excessive torque transmission.
I. Back Pull-Out Simple and fast maintenance entry without the necessity to remove the pump casing from the piping.
J. ISO Standardised Designed to ISO 2858, ISO 5199, ISO 15783, and EN 809 requirements.
The AME vary are heavy-duty process pumps designed with a metallic armour and high purity PFA-lining to deal with the toughest purposes and for transferring high purity aggressive chemicals. Designed to ISO 2858 requirements, these magnetic drive pumps are constructed for dependable and leak-free operation in essentially the most arduous of purposes with temperatures <150°C due to the patented structural design.
