In a single week, 186 foreigners in Phuket, southern Thailand, have been found to have overstayed their visas, Phuket Immigration reported this morning.
From April 28 – May four, 2023, a hundred and twenty law enforcement officials inspected the documents of 216 overseas targets on the island underneath orders from Phuket governor Narong Wunsiew, Chief of Phuket Police Pol. Of the 182 foreigners who surrendered, forty one were from Russia, 16 were from Kazakhstan, 15 had been from the USA, 15 were from China, 10 have been from the UK, and eighty five have been from elsewhere in the world.
