Patong police busted a Frenchman for successful and run after a Thai pedestrian was significantly injured last week. The culprit, Naji Sami Bouakkz, hit a woman, 54 12 months previous Maliwan Sarnrat, with his motorbike on Friday, February 10. The incident occurred on Soi Sai Namyen. Bouakkz did not stop his bike after hitting Maliwan.
Swipe and rescuers rushed Maliwan to Patong Hospital, however she was soon transferred to Vachira Phuket Hospital because of the nature of her injuries, The Phuket News reported.
Police used CCTV footage to track down the motorcycle, which was returned to a rental shop on Pracha Nukroa Road in Patong on February 14. Police went to the store to talk to the rental operator. The rental operator said he seen some scratches on the bike, which had been fastened. Bouakkaz was matched with the motorcycle that hit the pedestrian in CCTV footage.
The store proprietor known as Bouakkz to return to the shop, and the police arrested him. Bouakkz now faces charges of hit-and-run inflicting extreme accidents, as properly as reckless driving at high velocity, The Phuket Express reported.
