In Pattaya, a man claiming to know with a outstanding politician allegedly left a neighborhood Thai restaurant with out paying his invoice, which amounted to just about a thousand baht. Jinwara Rebedef, the owner of the ‘Gin Gab Gia’ restaurant on Thepprasit Road, spoke to The Pattaya News about the incident and offered CCTV footage as proof.
The man, who appeared well-dressed, entered the establishment yesterday and ordered food together with a number of beers. He conversed with Jinwara, claiming to work for an area politician and stating that his boss would cover the invoice. The man occasionally stepped outdoors for a smoke before returning to the restaurant.
When Jinwara was at the back of the restaurant cleansing, the suspect abruptly leaped up and sped away on a motorcycle. Despite Billion to chase him down, the person managed to flee.
