Labour MP Beth Winter has expressed her disappointment after shedding a range battle for a brand new seat in Wales due to proposed boundary modifications. Winter claimed she faced “unacceptable obstacles” in the course of the contest in opposition to Labour frontbencher Gerald Jones, who was introduced as the candidate for Merthyr Tydfil and Upper Cynon.
