Police yesterday arrested a glue sniffer who misplaced management and stole a police bike parked in entrance of a shopping center in the Isaan province of Udon Thani. The arrest was made with the help of a meals delivery rider.
An officer from Mueang Udon Thani Police Station was alerted to an incident contained in the Central Udon Thani shopping center. The officer parked his motorbike outdoors the mall, and left the key within the ignition, as he went to analyze the issue however when he went again his bike had gone.
The stolen motorcycle is a Honda CBR 300 R with the Royal Thai Police emblem screened on its body. The automobile has a GPS system permitting officers to trace it down. A 26 12 months previous man, referred to as Bandit, stole it. Police chased after Bandit however misplaced monitor of him. Luckily, the officer obtained some help from a 35 12 months old delivery rider known as Yanwit Chuatcharoen.
Yanwit advised Channel 7 that he heard the police and locals yelling in front of the shopping center that a thief stole a police vehicle. However, he couldn’t help the police as he had to deliver meals to his buyer.
Yanwit mentioned that he met with the suspect, Bandit, on the road after he completed his supply and decided to observe him until he stopped at a garage. Yanwit then contacted the police and let them know the culprit’s location.
A member of the garage employees, 49 12 months old Somnuek Pongsirat, reported to the media that Bandit asked to borrow a screwdriver saying that he needed to take the registration plate off. He was not conscious that Bandit was a thief so, he helped him take away the plate. Luckily, the police arrived at the storage just in time and arrested Bandit.
The police officer, Tirayothin Subsin, revealed that Bandit was high on glue and unable to reply to police questions. Plain added that Bandit has previous form. He has been arrested twice before on theft and drug case charges.
In this case, Bandit was charged with stealing the assets of another individual. He might be punished with imprisonment of as a lot as three years and a nice of up to 60,000 baht in accordance with Section 334 of the Criminal Law.
