The Hong Kong government is contemplating rolling again some Covid restrictions, conscious that public tolerance is fading. Chief Executive Carrie Lam says that although the infection price isn’t yet declining, some restrictions could be eased, recognising that the basic public has had sufficient.
“Not because the number of instances has come down, however I actually have a really robust feeling that people’s tolerance is fading. Some of our financial establishments are losing persistence about this sort of isolated standing of Hong Kong.”
