The Thai Cabinet Committee has decided to take a firmer stance on commercials that they say might instigate social harms and messages that reference the monarchy. They plan to problem laws and rules to manage such harmful advertisements.
Deputy government spokesperson Traisulee Traisoranakul says the committee has accredited the draft ministerial laws towards ads or services that may trigger danger and harm to residents of Thailand. They additionally permitted a draft proposal to rescind advertisements of alcoholic drinks and caffeinated drinks in film theatres and on billboards. Other ads that might be prohibited include messages that reference giveaways or rewards from playing, as per her assertion.
Under wraps decided that advertisements for rental models that haven’t been legally registered yet or have been registered with out stating the small print or providing plots of land and rental sales that don’t specify sure particulars as is required by regulation will also be forbidden.
