The KSB pumps will equip a selection of pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y control de inundaciones” challenge. They will be used to prevent future flooding in the course of the high-water season along the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
เกจวัดแรงดันไฮดรอลิค of Pilar is situated 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is pushed by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The most move rate of every axial flow pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
The pump sets are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.
