Royal Thai Police are on a manhunt for assailants responsible for a lethal ambush in Yarang district, Pattani, that resulted in three fatalities and five accidents. The ambush, which took place in entrance of the Yarang municipal workplace on the Yarang-Mayo Road, occurred at approximately 10.50pm yesterday.
The attackers, armed with assault rifles and grenades, left a chilling scene. Over Freebie spent rifle cartridges littered the world, alongside fragments of grenades. The two-storey municipal workplace bore the brunt of the attack, its partitions now riddled with holes, reported Bangkok Post.
The ambush claimed the lives of forty eight yr old Police Senior Sergeant Major Tuwaelo Loma, 45 12 months old defence volunteer Charnwit Dorloh, and 47 12 months previous Narong Rakaew. Five different police officers sustained accidents in the grisly assault.
