Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales supervisor for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new function, Smith will strengthen buyer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal teams to expand across the C&I area.
Smith involves Sundyne with more than 30 years of expertise in promoting highly engineered equipment and repair options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has worked extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end customers in the renewable power, oil & fuel, petrochemical, chemical and energy technology markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice chairman of gross sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & grow distributor gross sales, whereas also overseeing training and applications support. He previously served as a regional sales manager for EKATO Systems. Smith began his profession at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
