Thai Customs officials at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport on Monday intercepted a drug shipment sure for Hong Kong, discovering over forty three kilogrammes of heroin hidden in hill tribe clothes. The illicit medicine had been estimated to be value 107.5 million baht.

These incidents spotlight the continuing challenge faced by Thai authorities in combating drug trafficking through its airports.
