Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gas pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell fuel pumps shall be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It can additionally be the second LNG fuel pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj in the final yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales might improve even additional in 2022.
