Atlas Copco to accumulate Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and full metering techniques. The company employs round 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended tradition of supporting prospects and growing leading industrial flow technology for efficient, exact and protected dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re constructing our presence and technology providing inside constructive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and sophisticated process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has sturdy engineering capability, offering full industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is anticipated to be accomplished in the course of the second quarter 2022.
